This is kind of a broad topic, but I play a wide variety of games and enjoy many aspects of them, from chess to card games to that blasted Minesweeper! Want to know why you never land on Boardwalk in Monopoly? We can talk about that too!

Yes, gaming is a skill separate from the skill of being good at a particular game. There are many parallels between computer/video games and tabletop games, but once you understand the mechanics, they all start looking like they're built out of the same building blocks. This isn't a coincidence; they are! And lots of them get more fun when you understand this. Let's get to "work"! We'll start with some light games and work our way into something more dense.

Francis is a fantastic teacher. He is patient, extremely knowledgeable, and fun to work with, a rare combination. I joined a friend’s rock band and needed to learn how to play the bass guitar fast. I had never even played guitar before. Francis taught me the basics and got me competent on the songs we were learning. He even helped me with my singing. I now do backup and even lead on a few songs. Francis had a music degree from UCSD and can make learning as simple or as complicated as you want to make it. He also teaches music at an alternative High School. He is very flexible and a very nice person to be around. I highly recommend Francis!

My grandson Kristoph is happy and challanged enough to want to continue. Marian is very patient with children. We need to think about future classes and a little more structured approach. Thanks.

Adam is a wonderful tutor and help. He’s patient with those he is teaching & he looks for ways to teach and demonstrate the material in a whitty, impactful manner. He knows everything there is to know about music theory and much more, and a lot of my success in passing all four levels of music theory points back to this guy!

My name is Mary Mercurio Santos, and I am the Tutoring and Supplemental Instruction Coordinator for Azusa Pacific University. Adam worked under my direct supervision as a Tutor and Supplemental Instruction Leader for approximately three years while he was an undergrad at APU.
Adam's knowledge of music, and Music Theory is extensive and comprehensive, and yet he has the ability to break down these complicated theoretical concepts and make them easy to understand for even the most basic learner. I have seen him successfully tutor students at all levels of musical knowledge and experience. If you need to know ANYTHING about music, I strongly recommend you reach out to Adam for services.
