We have only had three lessons with Alex, so realistically, it is hard to comment fully. However so far, my son likes Alex very much, which says a lot. Alex shows up for lessons on time. He is polite and knowledgeable. He is also a professional musician, which brings experience and depth to his interactions with my son. We plan to continue lessons with Alex.

My son has been taking lessons with Jonah for almost a year, and really loves working with him. I recently decided to join in with lessons of my own to try to progress out of the guitar rut I was stuck in. Jonah is pleasure to work with. Whether you're a beginner or beyond, Jonah is a patient, capable, and engaging teacher. We recommend him highly.

Jonah is a Godsend, seriously! I couldn’t have imagined, in my wildest dreams, a better introduction to guitar. Not only is he incredibly patient and knowledgable concerning guitar, but his passion and genuine love for the teaching process is palpable. I would recommend him a billion times over to anyone looking to learn, brush up, or further shape their guitar skills!

Mel is a very patient and knowledgable teacher. I feel like I fumble along at the beginning of a lesson but by the end Mel has improved my technique and timing. I would definitely recommend Mel to anyone who wants to learn or improve on their instrument!

Similar to learning acoustic guitar but with more emphasis on the common bluegrass picking techniques, chord progressions, and various scales.

Emphasis on improvisation when dealing with the lead aspect of bluegrass music.

Wow wow wow. I had my first lesson with Christian, and he absolutely blew me away. Super talented musician. He has such a wealth of knowledge of the fretboard, musical theory, and different genres. I am into prog rock/metal and blues. I’ve never taken lessons before, and do not know scales or many chords, and christian identified exactly where to start off. He broke it down to a science and completely demystified the guitar. In small bite sized chunks we went for over two hours. It was a proper class with 1 on 1 personal attention. He is approachable with any question, and helps you understand the WHY of things, not just how to do something, which gives you such a stronger foundation to build off. I cannot wait for the next session.

I like to make learning an instrument fun and easy to fit into your schedule!

If you're an adult finally getting around to learning your dream instrument or a child following your passion of playing music I tailor your lessons specifically to you. We look at what you want to play, pick specific songs that you want to learn, and learn the techniques you need to play these songs. It sounds simple, but it's so effective and much more fun to learn this way!

If you have any questions for me hit the "Ask Grant A Question" button, I would love to hear from you and discuss your interests in music!

Love that notes are sounding better. Even though chords are very difficult, today I tried one song with easier chords and did not do too badly. Even tempo felt better. No time-outs for me...yet.
Grant is a great and patient instructor.

I was so worried I wouldn’t be able to play ukulele or guitar at all cause it seemed really hard but grant knows how to break it down into easy steps. We will see how this goes as things progress. Thank you
