I was trained as a classical pianist taking private instruction for ten years, and discovered in 1982 that the Hammond B3 organ was my true love. I primarily teach the blues style of performance, and will teach you proper chord voicings, use of the volume pedal and the drawbars. These techniques are what completely sets the organ apart from its piano counterpart.

I've been taking lessons from Steven for I think two years now and he's helped me so much not only in reading music but also in ear training and in my song writing. He's incredibly patient and fun to work with. He also has a really nice cat.

I came into the lesson with very little knowledge about guitar. Matt provided a simple road map for progress, and was patient through the drills. Within thirty minutes, I started seeing improvement. I very much look forward to my next lesson to see what the next steps will be - highly recommend.

Stephanie is one of the best teachers you can possibly find through Takelessons. We are extremely fortunate to have found her. She is a successful professional musician who is very strict yet with a kind heart and skills/experiences to steer students through their learning limitations. I had trouble to make my older daughter to practice piano for years, and almost came to the point to have her given up learning. Stephanie changed everything. Now my older daughter is getting not only serious with piano but practicing harder then ever. I am so happy to see the results. Highly recommend her!!!

Stephanie is s fantastic teacher! My daughter has thrived and grown like never before. When she wants to push her she expresses complete confidence. This builds my daughters confidence and she flourishes! She is in love again with piano! We drive an hour every week and it is worth it. If you are looking for an experienced teacher who loves to teach Stephanie is the one to go to.

Stephanie method of teaching is ideal for me as an older adult...very patient but she challenges me not to take shortcuts and to follow her guidance. Our sessions are very productive yet enjoyable.

I studied organ in college and have played organ in churches for almost forty years. You at least be at the intermediate level in piano before you are ready for organ lessons. You will learn technique for manuals and pedals. You don't have to aspire to play in public if you have access to an organ in your home or elsewhere where you can just play for your own enjoyment.

You can learn to play on a pipe organ or electronic organ or your choice. Being a Church organist and choir director since age 16 , I can help you to read the Hymnals and understand the liturgical services of many different denominations. You can also learn how to play popular music using all the sounds available on the keyboards and foot pedals.

Ms. Veronica is a highly skilled piano teacher. Her lesson plans are well chiseled and catered to the skills and intellect of my daughter. Ms. Veronica is friendly and wasted no time connecting with my daughter, the latter thinks highly of her; and I’m happy that I had picked Ms. Veronica out of a long list of piano teachers.

Want to get the best from your home organ, learn to play and learn what the features available can do to help you? I have been playing this instrument / style for more than 40 years and can not only teach all aspects of home organ performance but also the operation of instruments. Selecting the best sounds and learning how to get the best from the many features available is a key element to this type of instrument. Melodic playing, left hand chords and bass pedal technique plus music theory all available. I am friendly, patience, trustworthy, reliable and will come to your home and help you get the best from your instrument.

I also teach home keyboard covering all aspects of both the musical and operational aspects of these instruments. This is a great introduction for beginners and in many cases lead to piano lessons.

As an adult in their 50's who failed music in junior high school, I never thought I could learn to play an instrument. I cannot say enough about how wonderful and patient Andy has been. Initially I was even more afraid because I remember how emotionless and stern my sister's piano teacher was back in the 1970's. Andy is more than personable and answers all questions in a way you can understand them when you know nothing about music. You never feel intimidated and rather you always feel encouraged. After four lessons I am really enjoying it and a lot of that has to do with the instructor! I would recommend him to anyone of any age who wants to learn piano.
