My 3rd lesson with Sarah today as an adult flute student returning to play after a long hiatus: Truly incredible! Sarah is very attentive to my focus on improving tone, breathing, embouchure & more. Today we also played a couple duets which helped me with sight reading. Molly

Tin Whistle:
The tin whistle, also called the penny whistle or pemperin English flageolet, Scottish penny whistle, tin flageolet, Irish whistle, Belfast Hornpipe, feadóg stáin and Clarke London Flageole, is a simple, six-holed woodwind instrument. It is a type of fipple flute, putting it in the same class as the recorder, Native American flute, and other woodwind instruments that meet such criteria. A tin whistle player is called a tin whistler or simply a whistler. The tin whistle is closely associated with Celtic music. Let me help you learn the basics of breathing, notes, rhythms, songs and improvisation.

I thought I wanted to take viola lessons. Then I read her website and I realized that she might be able to help me get my voice back! I thought there was no hope ever. She has been extremely generous with her time, and I haven't seen her yet, but I'm not buying the viola I was planning on buying. I play cello, and piano still, but I am going to see if she can help me with my voice. She sounds incredible. I never dreamed that I could even have HOPE like this!

Simply put, Andrew is the best. His genuine love and passion for all-things music was obvious the first day we met him. He is great with kids. He is flexible yet reliable. We love the fact that he tailors his lessons, homework, and incentives to the needs and interests of each individual student. We are confident that we could not find a better guitar instructor for our daughter.

After one lesson I can't wait for more. Amber's teaching is well structured and she was able to quickly identify my strengths and weaknesses. She also helped me plan a good practice regimen to make the best us of my practice time at home.

I can teach students by ear or with sheet music. I can adapt my lessons with students based on what they seek to accomplish and what their current skill level is. In teaching tin whistle, my approach to teaching focuses on the enjoyment associated with playing the instrument and learning the cultural aspect of music-making.

This is my first time learning to play an instrument, and Kendall has been nothing short of amazing. I feel like I am progressing with each lesson, and I enjoy working on my homework between lessons. I absolutely recommend Kendall if you want to learn violin as an adult beginner, and I'm sure she is equally good with younger students and more experienced ones.

I have been playing guitar and bass for over 15 years, which has been a remarkable and rewarding musical journey. After teaching myself for seven years, I decided to attend the Atlanta Institute of Music from which I graduated with a performance-based scholarship. My own approach to learning has helped me to teach students from all various backgrounds as I am able to adapt my lesson plans to accommodate either a more classical or more colloquial approach to effectively relate the material to each student effectively. My lesson plans are structured around the goals that students set for themselves, which I then show them how to achieve in a practical manner. This is a great life skill that will extend even beyond music. The only goals that cannot be reached are the ones you tell yourself repeatedly "I can't", which is the only real barrier to learning and creating.
