I want to help you find your voice. Anyone can play a guitar, but it takes some hard work, determination, and proper guidance to truly sound great when playing one. My curriculum will be determined by your goals, but most everyone will be subjected to some amount of ear training, hand and body posture training, technique, and basic theory. I will teach you to play an acoustic or electric guitar with a pick or with your fingers (or both).

Another often overlooked advantage of having a guitar teacher is having somebody to reach out to for guidance when buying a new instrument. I won't charge you for that, though; I like exploring a music shop as much as anyone else!

A talented musician and caring instructor. My son is on the Autism Spectrum and really related to Francis. Francis encourages his students to lead the way with what they desire out of their lessons. So happy we found him!

my first lesson with Francis was excellent. we talked about goals for a few minutes, then got to work. It was a good vocal warmup and workout. I learned vocal exercises, as well as practicing on a song I wanted to work on. Francis is obviously a pro.

Great first lesson. Helped me understand my range, projection, threw in some theory, and gave me a great base to start my development. Overall nice person and kept the lesson on track, focused, and interesting. Looking forward to more classes.

Jerry is not only a phenomenal instructor, but also a great coach, which is what you have to be in order to keep an 8 year old engaged. My son is very much engaged and enjoying the lessons. Thank you Jerry!

I'll take you from zero knowledge and show you the world of music. The possibilities are endless, but I'll get you to YOUR goal. You'll know musical keys, notes, scales, chords... how does it all fit and work together? I'll show you! I provide jam tracks with specific goals in mind. Knowledge plus ability equals musical freedom!

I'm influenced by my idols, but I play many genres and cater to improve everyone's technique based on interest.

Kyle is great! I've invested in guitar lessons more than once but never found an instructor that could "make it all fit together." Kyle is patient and has the ability to explain the essential skills you need. Look no further - You will really enjoy lessons with Kyle.

So far I can tell that taking lessons with Kyle is going to be great. He explains things in a way that is easy to understand, gives you things to work on, and doesn't mind going over something again. You feel comfortable, and work at a pace that makes sense for you. He is also a really funny & down to Earth guy.

Our lessons will be laid-back, encouraging, and productive. We will work together to help you achieve your goals and gain a well-rounded music education, regardless of age or musical background. Students who study guitar with me will not only learn songs they love to play, but will learn proper technique, sight-reading, music theory, and ear training. I tailor each lesson based on the musical interests and goals of the student. I aim to give the students a solid foundation in technique and theory in order to help the student feel comfortable with the guitar and to make progress at a steady rate.

Summer was a well organized instructor, highly skilled at adapting a lesson to the level of the student, which in my case was very low. She was thorough in her instructions, and provided detailed explanations as well as suggestions to increase the ability to grasp and retain the material. The material she crafted to leave behind for practice seems appropriate to build skills and confidence. Overall, an excellent instructor.

I teach good playing technique and broadly applicable musical knowledge by working on music you actually want to play. I've played and worked with students on Bach sonatas, Dylan/Donovan style fingerpicking, jazz comping and solos, rock, metal and punk riffs, Steve Vai-esque two-hand tapping, as well as songwriting, music theory, and aural skills, so no matter what kind of music you like or how you're looking to improve, chances are I can help take you do it. All levels and ages are welcome.

My name is Russell Steedle and I have been playing guitar professionally for 19 years and teaching music and producing records for over 10. I have worked with artists such as Sean Kingston, Lifehouse, Disney's Caityln Taylor Love and have composed music to 100s of your favorite TV shows! Russ is a truly exceptional individual and very knowledgeable in all aspects of music theory, production and the industry. Not only is he an great at what he does, but he can also relate and impart that knowledge onto others - a skill that is surprisingly rare among high-caliber performers. The price per lesson seems higher than average at first glance, but I feel that the speed and amount of knowledge you acquire per dollar is actually lower than that of other instructors. Really.

He is also active in the industry, so the skills he teaches are current.

I take lessons with Russ online through Skype for EDM production in FL Studio. He is always punctual and promptly communicates if anything comes up. His teaching style carefully balances the need to provide guidance, while allowing freedom for individual artistic development. Every week, I start a composition or track analysis project that applies what I've learned in previous lessons, and I will submit it to Russ to discuss things that went well and things to work on in the future. In this way, you are not just being lectured, but you are actually learning to collaborate with an exceptional musician. I've personally experienced how constant application and feedback facilitates rapid learning.

He certainly is a serious musician, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a fun personality. He is engaging and inspirational.

I would, without reservation nor hesitation, highly recommend Russ to anyone who is interested in professional music production.

I really enjoy learning from Russ. He is good at relating things back to a way I can understand and improve. He is so versatile in his music knowledge that I can litterally throw anything his way that I'm curious about and he points me in the right direction. I've taken guitar, bass, vocal, and even production lessons from Russ. By far the most value I have ever got from an instructor. At first I was a little hesitant because of the higher price than others, but when you start noticing that you are learning stuff other teachers had no idea about, it makes sense to pay a little more for the quality you get out of his lessons. Thanks Russ for all the lessons over the last few years! Wouldn't be where I am today without ya!
