I teach both baroque and modern technique on a tracker action instrument, which is then applicable to modern instruments. My teaching style is rooted in developing a technique that is centered, focused, and free. Beginning organ students should have reached an intermediate level of piano performance and be tall enough to sit comfortably on a lowered organ bench with feet touching the pedals without flexing.
I am an active performer eager to teach organ, piano, voice, and provide collaborative keyboard accompaniment to vocalists. I teach youth and adults. Private lessons are given at my church in Worcester or online through the TakeLessons platform. I also teach in-home piano lessons. My students have g

Music is all about you. My piano lessons are dedicated to you, refining your abilities, sharpening your ears, and incorporating enhanced levels of creativity. With a background also in composition I have a wide experience in not only performing but writing music, which gets me in close and personal to the inner workings. I have a wide range of knowledge in history and repertoire to engage students outside the realm of normal and often overplayed repertoire.
Especially during major world events, the need for art and mediums where humans can express their emotion are of vital importance. "Practice makes proficiency” - this is true for music as well as life. Mistakes are inevitable but it is mistakes that allow us to grow and achieve greater things. Singing lessons can be uncomfortable because of all the silly exercises most singing teachers make you do, but Eric makes the whole experience fun and comfortable. It is so much fun it is often the highlight of my week, and I like to have fun lol.
I have no doubt that in a couple months I will have far surpassed my singing goals"
Even more importantly, Marco is a spectacular teacher. He is a student of the voice and knows more about the anatomy of singing than anyone I've ever met. He can describe where you should place your sound, pinpoint how your body is affecting your voice, and immediately show you several exercises that target your specific challenge spots.
Marco has also helped me improve so much as a performer and musician; he has challenged me to sing songs that are slightly out of my comfort zone and given me countless tips on how to pay homage to an artist when covering them while still making the song my own. Finally, he has also helped me develop my own musical style as a cover artist and original artist."
