With a bachelors degree in biology, I have studied a large majority of the natural sciences. I taught high school biology at Tippecanoe Valley High School and had the privilege to inspire the next generation of scientific minds. I currently tutor several college students in their more advanced classes, as well as high school students.

I am a passionate and enthusiastic STEM educator with over 5 years of experience working with students of all ages, including students attending Ivy League universities and students with learning differences.

I specialize in teaching the science and math components of STEM. These subjects are often the most challenging subjects students encounter; they are also deeply intertwined with one another. Thus, it can be very beneficial to have a single tutor who is well-versed in a variety of subjects. I strive to break down the barriers between individual topics and help my students understand these subjects on a deeper level. Ultimately, I aim to not only help my students overcome academic challenges, but also to lead them to becoming autonomous, independent learners. I strive to empower my students and instill them with intrinsic motivation to learn so they can reach their full potential.

My goal is to not only to help you really get it, but also to empower you to become your own best resource when it comes to understanding something new.

In addition to explaining concepts in a graspable manner and outlining strategies to tackle the given tasks in a systematic and efficient way, I will provide practice problems and follow up with you when you get stuck on anything.
