Erin was extremely knowledgeable and patient during our lessons. I'm a beginner and knew just one stitch and now know several more and have a better idea at following patterns, too! I appreciate the time and, again, patience she had for me when I dropped stitches, as well! I would highly recommend Erin to anyone who wants to up their knitting game!!

I have a LOT of patience! All you need is the desire to learn to knit. If you never have knitted before, I will get you knitting. If you want to learn, but believe you can’t learn because someone told you can’t learn to knit, I will prove that you can knit. If you have knitted a long time ago, but forgot all of it or most of it, I will bring it back to you. If you already know the basics of knitting, but don’t know how to get beyond the simple knitted squares and rectangles, I can get you to the next level. If you know knitting basics, but gave up because you make a lot of mistakes, I will show you how to fix mistakes, so that mistakes don’t become traumatic. If you know the basics, but want to learn a different technique such as color work, cables, lace, or more, I can teach you. Do you have trouble reading patterns or charts, I can take the mystery out of them.

Because of COVID-19, I mostly teach online for now. If you are vaccinated, I will consider teaching in person within 6 ...

Go at your own pace and have fun are my knitting mottos! I teach continental style knitting and have been teaching beginners to knit for over 5 years. Together we'll experience the excitement that comes when you cast on something new, learn a new stich, or finish a favorite project.

I'm can start with the basics (cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch) or jump straight into helping on a project you have planned (or started and got stuck on? don't worry - it happens to all of us!). There is no limit to the kind or number of projects we can do. I have plenty of project ideas and am always happy to help with your ideas, too.

About Nicole

My grandmother taught me to knit when I was 11 years old, and after taking a few years off I picked up the hobby again in my 20s. Now in my 30s I am an avid knitter - there are always several projects on my needles (I need one I can travel with, one I can do while watching TV, and usually one I'm ma

Bonnie, taught me how to knit In a matter of minutes. I was a bit hesitant of taking an online course when it came to knitting however she is very tech savvy and placed the camera in a perfect position. I was able to see her and at the same time see where her hands were on the needles when she was teaching me how to knit. She is. very skillful teacher, calm and also very kind. If you have ever wanted to learn how to knit book a class with her and you will surely learn.

Dawn has wonderful instruction and is quite patient with new beginners like myself! Explanation is clear and she has a freakin wealth of knowledge about sewing, patterns, tips and tricks to make the outcome much neater, and starts off with the perfect projects for a beginner. Def a five start rating! :-)

Dawn is awesome! Very thorough with her explanations and really customizes lessons to my goals. She’s very encouraging and always reachable for questions outside of classes. Her hardware set up was conducive to on line lessons so it felt as much of an in person class as it could get. The lessons have really prepared me and got me excited for many more sewing projects!

Everyone gets to take home an infinity scarf and they all leave learning a new skill. Dawn works well with all ages, is patient, and really enthusiastic about teaching what she loves.
