Are you looking for help with Hebrew homework at school or university? Are you going to Israel and would like to be able to speak with people there? Perhaps your child doesn't have time for Hebrew school, but you'd still like him/her to learn? I can help! I teach adults and children, Jewish or not. I am gentle and patient, and I make sure my lessons are fun and entertaining. Connections are made between various subjects, we sing songs, watch relevant film clips, and tell stories. Bar and bat mitzvah prep is also available. I enunciate all words very clearly, making it easy to learn by imitation.

Hebrew teacher with years of experience, offering private lessons. I teach both Hebrew reading and pronunciation and modern conversational Hebrew. My professional experience includes teaching at Golda Och Academy in West Orange, B'nai Abraham in Livingston, Central Synagogue in Manhattan and more, as well as many private lessons. In the schools I provided classroom instruction, private and group tutoring and adult education as well as private instruction for the faculty.

As an Israeli born and raised and a native speaker of Hebrew, I teach modern day-to-day Israeli Hebrew. Whether you are a complete beginner or you are advanced and would like to improve, my lessons will be tailored to your level, your needs and your interests.

My students can expect to begin with the alphabet, and then building upon the vowels, grammar, and vocabulary. I will teach from three texts, the Torah, "A Grammar For Biblical Hebrew" by Seow, and an "Introduction to Hebrew" by John Parsons from Zola Levitt Ministries.
