As a teacher, I enjoy cultivating joy and curiosity through cello and believe in creating a warm, open environment for students to develop into inquisitive lifelong learners! While I work with students individually to come up with their own goals, some of the core objectives I have for my students is to develop solid technique and tone quality as well as expression and satisfaction through creating music. I use a variety of tools for learning from standard technique books and classical repertoire to fiddle tunes and rote learning. I believe every child and adult is musical and am excited to explore the cello with you!

I have been teaching singing for several years in a variety of styles. I have experience performing in a variety of genres. My students have gone on to perform in community and school productions, perform in church, and sing professionally. Within the first few lessons, you will be able to sing a song from memory, and soon you will have a full repertoire of pieces ready to go!
