My name is Timothy and I have been oil painting for 25 years. I enjoy sharing my art experience with others, no matter what age, no matter where you are beginning. I can begin with the simplest subject matter in painting, and advance you into more advanced subject matter such as portraiture and painting from life. My training is a balance of self taught instruction and my art teacher, John Gordon, the designer of the Green Bay Packers logo!

This event is for Group Painting for family, friends or those looking to get the co-workers together for a bonding event! You can expect a guided tutorial on a painting of your choice that we confirm beforehand or I may arrange an idea to paint for the group as well!

I have been teaching acrylic painting and other media for over fourteen years. I have experience working with students from all walks of life and art backgrounds- I love beginners! I have the maturity to intuit the student's needs on a level that someone fresh out of art school just doesn't...Curriculum is based on the individual student's desires but is heavily focused on: color theory, texture, correct proportion exercises, perspective, and design theory.

I've been painting for 46 years and teaching for the last 11 years. My passion is painting, or other mediums, animal and wildlife art. I've been fortunate enough to do hundreds of pet portraits for people over the years and love to do artwork of the wonderful wildlife that I have around me in Florida. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Art with a massive array of Art Classes. A Master Degree in Fine Arts Education. I teach art to high school students and to many others. The pleasure is all mine since 2008. Doesn't matter your age. What matters is your ability to express yourself through acrylic paint.

Whatever your skill level, however fast or slow you want to go, I want to help you to become a better artist and enjoy it while you’re learning! What we cover in your lesson will be determined by your level of expertise. Oil paint is my forte, as I have been painting with it for 30 years. If you are just starting out with oils, we will discuss some important things to understand about the colors, mediums, how to set up your palette and some different ways of applying paint, etc. If you already have some experience with oil painting, we will pick up with whatever areas you would like to improve on. If you are interested in painting the human figure or portraits in particular, we can discuss some important ways to go about painting flesh tones. There are also some little known tips I want to tell you about that will be useful to artists of any skill level!
