I have been teaching for over 12 years. The combination of learning technique, music and having fun all at the same time is priceless! No matter what age you are or your ability (beginning, intermediate or advanced), there are no boundaries when it comes to music!

About Wolfgang

Wolfgang was born in Vienna, Austria and raised in the United States. He began his violin studies at age 7. Wolfgang studied with Zona Miller- Pueblo Symphony Orchestra from 1969-1977 and Jessi Ceci- concertmaster of the Denver Symphony Orchestra from 1977-1979. Majoring in violin performance, he

My son has been a student of Wolfgang’s for almost three years now, and in our opinion he is just the best! We’re so grateful to have found him. Not only is he an expert musician, he’s also an expert teacher. It’s not easy to find that combination!

Wolfgang is patient, kind, and funny. He’s always upbeat, and always always gentle and encouraging. At the same time, he has a knack for challenging his students and making them want to work hard for him. He has a deep knowledge of music, and once you progress beyond the beginner level he can really help you with theory, technique, and an endless supply of useful tips about how to get the most out of practice, how to tackle a challenging piece, and how to approach a performance. He has an enthusiasm for his subject that is infectious. Our son has really made amazing progress under Wolfgang’s guidance.

We’ve always found Wolfgang to be super flexible and easygoing on the admin side. We never felt the kind of sales pressure from him that you sometimes get with music schools and teachers. He accommodates our scheduling needs with no pressure and no guilt, and always communicates promptly whenever there might be something on his end that would affect a lesson. In short he’s a real pro, the total package, and you won’t regret hiring him as a teacher.

I'm extremely happy to have found Wolfgang Track as a violin teacher. Unlike previous teachers I have had, he is extremely patient and easy-going. He delivers instruction and advice very well, making lessons comfortable and engaging.

I am an adult student with a full-time job. Needless to say, I need a teacher that can maintain a flexible schedule and understand my time limits. Wolfgang does both, but never makes me feel like I am "falling behind" or "losing momentum". He is very good at making sure that I feel like I am continuously progressing, which continues to keep me focused.

I can't recommend his services enough. Any student would do well with Wolfgang as an instructor.
Cynthia
My son worked with Wolfgang for close to six years. We absolutely lived Jim. Patient and fun for all ages.

When it comes to violin I use both book and audio. I want to help my students learn to not only read the music but to also hear and feel it. I have been teaching this way for the last few years and found that my students have a deeper understanding of the music by learning the see with their ears. Each student is tasked with coming up with goals that they want to reach, goals their parents would like for them to reach and from there a personalized path for learning is created and followed.

About April

I picked up music when I was very young and have never looked back. I started with the piano and then moved on to the violin, of which I competed regularly in up until high school. In high school I switched the viola and found it to me even more amazing. During high school I competed again in music

I love my job! There's no doubt that performing at a high level is exciting but having the opportunity to perform consistently and confidently comes with hard work. I don’t mind working hard but practicing doesn't have to be a chore. It has to be efficient and engaging, at any level.

"Excellent

I am an adult learner new to music lessons, and so was very anxious during my first violin session with Raycurt. I can't say enough about his professionalism and easy teaching style. We spoke prior to the meeting, and he told me what I needed to get started. More impressive, he showed up during a snowstorm! I highly recommend him."

She also has had the opportunity to play solo's in recitals and yearly contests that Mel's studio arranges for his students. Because of his well-rounded attention to instruction, practice, and performance, her growth as a violinist has been immense. This growth has also allowed her to compete at the district and state level in school."

"Gloria has been a wonderful and inspiring teacher over a period of very formative years for me as a violinist. We first worked together for all 4 years of my undergraduate violin performance degree at Mills College from 2010-14, and Gloria helped me develop a lasting appreciation for listening deeply and developing focus for small details. We worked together on everything from solo Bach and Hindemith sonatas to concertos, chamber music, and orchestral excerpts. She has been a lasting influence in my life as a musician, and I will continue to return for musical and creative advice over the years even when I live far away."

"It was apparent in the first lesson that Susanna is an experienced, understanding, thorough, and patient teacher. She carefully covered all the basics: different parts of the violin, proper posture, finger positions, etc., making it easy for our daughter to get started on the violin. She corrected our daughter’s mistakes right away and moved on only when our daughter got a good grasp of the material."

"I've been taking lessons with Stephanie for about 3.5 months now. I was looking for a teacher with flexibility who could adapt their teaching to the student, rather than following a rigid lesson plan. Stephanie has been a great fit! Not only do I play songs that I want to learn, but also I feel like a lot of what we focus on learning is actually adapted to me. I love that if I want to experiment with a new technique, she encourages me and is there to guide me on how to approach it. Nothing ever feels out of reach (though it might take lots of practice). She focuses on consistent improvement rather than doing something right or wrong. Stephanie is also very responsive between lessons to answer questions, including with video demos. She's very helpful, positive, and overall fun to work with."

"I've been playing a few instruments for 23 years, and finally decided to get into violin. Farobag made me realize that I know next to nothing about the violin, and there is so much to learn. I played only a few notes in my first lesson, but his instruction was worth every penny. I am very excited for the next lesson and look forward to learning everything I can from Farobag. Highly recommended."
