About Sabrina Jacqui

I only took a couple of lessons from Sabrina, just to enhance a few sewing skills, but she was great. Very knowledgeable!

She cancelled on my tree minutes before our session. I didn't have time to hire someone new. This has ruined my holiday. I stayed home to finish a sewing project and now can't because it's too late to hire someone new. It's too late to fly back home. This sucks. I better get my money back.

Sabrina taught my daughter in-home, she was always on time despite the distance and was very patient and respectful. We have a few other children and she was extremely welcoming to the little ones looking in on the lesson. She taught my daughter how to use a store-bought pattern and some sewing basics.

During my time as a student at the Art Institute, I remember students clamoring to register for Ms. Pierre's courses in advanced pattern making, children wear and swimwear.  Her role as the professor and director of the annual fashion show class and event was amazing. During those events Mr Pierre took me under her wing and imparted priceless knowledge and wisdom that has helped me in my career years after graduating. She is beyond talentd, graceful, stylish and an exceptionally gifted lecturer. Ms Pierre keeps her students enthralled with her compelling knowledge of pattern making and design. I know absolutely no other professor who is as passionate about fashion design. Also who desires to help students understand how the proper pattern making process can bring a garment to life. All of her classes were always packed to capacity because she had an amazing abality to see her students potential and bring that greatness to the surface. So with that said it is my honor and privilege to recommend Guerda Pierre as an instructor.

"Anne is a great sewing instructor. I was able to understand how to use a sewing machine and am more comfortable using one. The pillow case project I worked on was a fun project to do. The easiest way to learn how to sew is by doing it and practicing. It's definitely easier learning how to sew with the teacher next to you and answering your questions. I highly recommend Anne as a sewing instructor."

Mya was nice enough to come over and guide her through the completion. Mya is intuitive and understands right away how to explain the different quilting techniques and sewing machine use. This has brought my mother immense pleasure especially since her limited mobility and pandemic have limited her activities greatly. I will be forever grateful."
