In addition, we will work deeply with your musical pieces in a very hands on way, to quickly progress your skill. The focus will be learning and production. You will have many musical pieces that you are proud of. We will focus on music theory, orchestration, arranging, score prep, software, music history, and more. Let's work together! Math and science can be hard to fully grasp so my lessons focus on pushing students to understand concepts well enough to be able to explain those concepts to others. I personally believe that is proof of true understanding.
I am available for online lessons as well as in-person lessons, both long term and immediate assistance.

I worked in the NBA for many years as a TV commentator, and now I teach American English classes. In the NBA, we had to have perfect pronunciation, so when you and I work on pronunciation, you will know that I can really help you.
I also work with adults who want to learn business English and improve their listening comprehension so you can really understand an English speaker. We will also work on common sayings and idioms, and I know how hard they are.
I'm great with kids who like sports, reading books, learning a musical instrument or most anything else. Would learning English help you get a better job? I've got over five years experience teaching English online and I think it's fun. I've worked with kids in middle school through college, and I have extensive experience with adults, especially in business English.
I like to make learning fun. When you have fun learning you learn more, remember more and you want to keep learning. Let's have fun and help you learn English.
I have been teaching both junior and adult classes, online, for more than five years, and I really like being able to teach from my home. I have taught nearly 8,000 classes to nearly 40,000 students, and my ratings have consistently put me at the top of the platform. I teach about half of my cla

Mary is an excellent communicator, with a great sense for analogies and concrete descriptions for abstract concepts (esp crucial for things like singing). She's a gifted vocalist, having been classically trained with an Opera and Jazz background, but more than that - she has the ability to enhance someone else's sense of style and natural voice. She is of course also an amazing human all around, with a great attitude, style, and general "lust for life." Highly recommend Mary as a vocal coach

I will admit to you, the reader, that most of the articles I have written thus far assume that the reader is already a fairly avid chess player, who is aware of the basic rules of chess and thus is interested in learning more advanced strategies, traps, and tricks with the goal of decisively defeating the opponent. But, of course, not everybody is born knowing all the rules of chess---there are, in fact, many out there who are unfamiliar with the game, and need an introduction to learn ch …

As a game, chess is traditionally divided into three phases: the opening, the middlegame, and the endgame. While all three are important, today I’m going to help you start out strong in the opening. When I first learned how to play chess, I played openings that really did not help me improve and left me with an awkward start to the game more often than not. Eventually, I adopted some of the openings that I will show you in this post and my rating skyrocketed. Opening Principles The first …

The end of the game has come. You have successfully out-maneuvered and outfought your opponent, conquering large swaths of the chessboard, and approaching that triumphal moment when you will topple the opponent’s king and declare that he has fallen---in other words, a checkmate (recall that “checkmate” is an anglicization of “shah mat”, Persian for “the king is dead”)… Only to realize that you don’t quite know how to finish the game, which inevitably results in a slapsti …
