My teaching style is rooted in developing a technique that is centered, focused, and free. Beginning organ students should have reached an intermediate level of piano performance and be tall enough to sit comfortably on a lowered organ bench with feet touching the pedals without flexing.

No student and no musician can truly understand music without understanding music theory. Playing the piano without knowing the notes is similar to trying to read a book without knowing letters. By default, I teach music theory simultaneously to all of my piano students. If you would like to focus more heavily on music theory, this class is for you! Depending on the student's level, we will be able to cover music theory related concepts starting with the very fundamentals all the way to graduate-level content. I have had the pleasure of teaching Music Theory both privately as well as at the undergraduate and graduate levels at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire.
