From learning your first chords and scales to music theory and everything in between I'm ready to give you the tools to succeed.

My journey began in my early teens and I'm still playing in bands and performing live on a regular basis. I studied under multiple extremely talented instructors through the Berklee College of Music Online and earned a Professional Certificate in Rock Guitar. Being a student of the instrument is something that I strongly believe in and I really enjoy passing along my knowledge of Rock, Pop, Metal, Blues, and Country in a way that is easy to understand.

Pedal tones or banjo rolls, or piano like phrasing, we can simulate a b-bender found on some guitars, chicken-picking, travis-picking, hybrid-picking, alternate-picking, slide guitar and much more.

Whether you are a complete beginner or highly advanced, I can help you get to the next level and beyond. My time tested and success proven curriculum was specifically designed to achieve maximum progress in the shortest amount of time possible. I fully understand that each and every student is unique and has different musical goals and dreams. For this reason our curriculum is always flexible and can be supplemented with customized instruction to meet the needs of the individual student.

I can teach you acoustic guitar and/or electric guitar. Choose from... Rock, Blues, Jazz, Classical, Metal, Country, Folk, Bluegrass, Funk, R&B and more.

I can help you improve in many areas such as guitar fundamentals, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, scales and modes, technique, music theory, chords, soloing and improvisation, flatpicking, fingerpicking, legato, ear training, music transcription, chord melody, sight reading, developing effective practice strategies, etc.

I have been studying the guitar privately and formally for over 13 years now. I have been performing in bands for all of that time, in addition to solo performances. I have proficiency in a variety of genres and have studied classical guitar, resulting in an Associates in guitar performance. I have also attended the Berklee College of Music as a guitarist.

It is beneficial to your mind and soul, and can lead you in many positive directions in life. My goal is to help cultivate excitement in my students, and to keep learning fun and interesting. We will focus on what it is that gravitates you to the guitar, and break down what you will need to learn to gain the freedom you are looking for. My aim is that you will always continue to pick up the guitar on your own out of the joy of playing, instead of feeling like you have to. The guitar doesn't have to be a rigid instruction, it is fun, free, creative and different for everyone!

I teach you to be a musician, not just an instrumentalist. There is a huge difference. I give you material to learn while doing my best to make it fun as well. I teach you the basics and build on that foundation. You can learn the material as fast or as slow as you want. However, it is not a canned approach because every student is unique and your learning styles reflect that. My goal is your success, truly!
