Any plucked string instrument with a neck (either fretted or unfretted) and a deep round back enclosing a hollow cavity, usually with a sound hole or opening in the body. The lute is plucked or strummed with one hand while the other hand "frets" (presses down) the strings on the neck's fingerboard. By pressing the strings on different places of the fingerboard, the player can produce higher or lower notes like on a guitar or other stringed instrument.
Lute has it's own musical notation and is fun to learn. I will teach you how to read, pluck and play beautiful songs that will inspire you and others.

About Sabrina Jacqui
I first learned how to sew from a wonderful woman teaching in-home sewing lessons. Her one on one lessons helped catapult me into the skilled sewer I am today. I've been sewing for about 16 years now. I started my namesake brand in 2009 where I designed and created every item by hand (pattern-dra

I teach general piano lessons since 2010.With every new student our mutual journey into the world of music begins from the very basic stage; we begin with discussing student's proper sitting position at the instrument, basic introduction sessions on the general buildup of the instrument, its keyboard layout, and proceed, gradually, to the notation symbols on the music staff introduction to the student. Through the diligent preliminary talk we will discuss various aspects of interest that my students have developed in relation to playing piano, so we could plan and design our future lessons according to an initial discussion. My job and responsibility will be to make an intelligent assessment of my students' natural abilities for the given subject of study, to create vigorous learning atmosphere during our meetings, and to give my students professional instructions to the best of my humble abilities, for the benefits of their musical , aesthetic, and personal development. I will ...

Interested in learning guitar for the first time, or have been playing for a while and want to develop your skills? When I teach guitar, I try to focus as much as possible on the student's goals as a musician, so we can get you playing songs you enjoy in only a few lessons. I also encourage students to try learning by ear as much as possible to improve their skills and be able to apply it to their own music. If you're interested in taking lessons with me, be sure to reach out and don't be afraid to ask questions!
I'm James, and I'm willing to help you pursue your future musical endeavors! Over the course of my life I have about 13 years of musical experience, as I grew up in a very musical family. I have been teaching music lessons privately for about 2 years. I have also been volunteering at a local communi

I've been studying mathematics for 7+ years, and have tutored at the high school and undergraduate level. In the first class, we will discuss your goals and what you hope to take away from the classes, and customize a plan for your best interests. I specialize in theoretical computer science, combinatorics, graph theory, and discrete math, and typically either follow a textbook in a specific topic, or generate problems and exercises to work through with the student.
Specifically for students interested in classes in discrete mathematics, I roughly follow Concrete Mathematics by Graham, Knuth, and Patashnik, while also preparing exercises and problem sets for the session and as homework.
I try to design my sessions so that students learn what they like to learn, while also developing a foundation and mathematical maturity for higher levels. I love working with students of all ages and levels, and I can't wait to meet you!
I'm a PhD student in Computer Science at MIT, focusing on algorithmic bioinformatics and complexity theory. I graduated with a double major in Mathematics and Computer Science from MIT in 2020. I love math and think about it pretty much all the time, and I want to help you get better at it! When I'

For example, if you want to sew an eyelet, you’ll want to master the blanket stitch, but if you’re looking to add a clean finish to a raw edge, go for a zigzag stitch using a sewing machine. In our hand and sewing machine stitch guide, we’ll review the man …

Back around 2014, I decided I was going to improve at chess. I watched a few videos online about some openings, played a few dozen blitz games online, and then promptly lost interest within a week. Four years later, I decided to pick it up again and in less than a year, I had gone from 1100 to 1900 Elo rating online. Obviously, I changed how I went about my improvement! So here are the steps that I took the second time around that got me to where I am now, and some ways you can improve your ches …
