Experienced Jewelry Design and Jewelry making teacher of 29 years available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of jewelry design and jewelry making skills. I specialize in metalsmithing with sheet metal, soldering with a torch, and gemstones. I typically use a large variety of books on all types of jewelry making. That is something I will go over with you individually so that if you want to purchase a book. you have the correct book you need for your specific goals. However, a book is not necessary to learn jewelry making. I will teach you everything you need to know to make a wide variety of jewelry. I also have the following tools available to use during lessons: beads, beading wire, pliers, hammers, punches, torch, wire, sheet metal, gemstones, and a saw for sawing metal, forming tools, beads, gemstones, wire, and sheet metal.
