Hi, there! My name is Mandy, and I look forward to working with you. I'm a singer, songwriter and guitarist with over ten years of experience in each of these areas. I love to be creative, and I want to share all of this wonderful, fun, creative knowledge with you! As a singer songwriter, I had to learn how to accompany myself, so I chose to pick up the guitar at age thirteen. I have been playing ever since, and have gathered an eclectic set of skills on the guitar, with styles ranging from folk, to blues to classical. However, acoustic fingerstyle guitar is my specialty. I have been writing songs and playing music for over ten years and have released two albums, which are both out on all major streaming platforms. In 2019, I became a guitar instructor at Guitar Center, and have been teaching guitar there ever since. I have experience with teaching children from the ages of 7 to 17. I am currently pursuing my Bachelors in Music Education at Florida International University, and will be completing my certification to teach K-12. I am proud of the skills I have acquired throughout my life, and I am very excited to share them with you!
