I am an avid learner and creator, loving nothing more than to explore new things. I have a strong passion for art with a personal history of singing, acting, dancing, cooking, writing, and crafting. While those are all hobbies, I've done my best to branch out with each one. I've been in multiple theatre productions and competitions, and have visited both New York City and Chicago to get real-time experience in performing. I've been taking advanced English courses since I was 14, and am a published poet. As of last year, I self-published my first novel. While I have no formal teaching experience, I have three years of restaurant management experience. I have attended leadership classes, and have been in charge of large groups of employees. I've worked with teenagers, young adults, and even older adults and have guided many through their training. Working with different age groups has taught me how necessary it is to tailor the learning experience to each individual student. I believe teaching is different depending on the student. I'd love to create a friendly and warm atmosphere to allow students to open up and communicate their needs. Psychology is something that has always interested me, so I enjoy learning about others and how they work. I'd like to come up with a plan that fits each individual student's needs to provide the best learning possible.
