Beginners knitting lesson: Knit A Hat
I have been knitting for over 15 years I’ve taught my little sisters and my mother. I will provide you with needles, yarn and a pattern for your first lesson. You will learn to knit, purl, decrease, fix mistakes, knit in the round, how to find your gauge, and read a pattern. I have lots of patience and know multiple styles of knitting so we will find the right one for you. Knitting is not hard but it will change you to problem solve and plan ahead. I can cover most of the basics in 2 hours, lessons will be one on one.

I’ve been knitting for over 15 years, in that time I have knit scarves, hats, socks, gloves, mittens, sweaters, and a few toys. I know both English and Continental knitting. I’ve mastered color work, cables, lace, and designed my own patterns. It won’t matter whether you’ve learned to knit in the past and want a refresher course or have never even seen knitting needles I can teach you.
