Briana Washington is a Los Angeles-based pianist, keyboardist, singer, composer, songwriter, music director, producer, and teacher. She started her musical journey as a self-taught pianist at the age of 5. She had the gifts of learning and playing any song on the piano without any formal training or help and had perfect pitch. After realizing her natural talents, she received formal training in the years to come as she attended 8th grade through high school at the Oakland School of the Performing Arts. While attending the school, she established her musical versatility learning jazz, funk, classical, and r&b styles in conjunction with her strong roots in gospel. Later she received a full scholarship at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and received her Bachelor of Music in Jazz Composition and Music Business. Throughout her musical journey she was able to perform and share the stage with many Grammy award-winning artists such as, Gloria Estefan, Michael McDonald, Eric Bellinger, the Beyonce Original All-Female Band, Greg Philinganes (Michael Jackson), BET's Black Girls Rock as Assistant to Music Director, and perform with opening acts for Eric Benet, and India Arie.
