Bridget is an award-winning operatic mezzo-soprano and voice technician. She helps students of all ages develop their own unique instrument through healthy vocal production and technique, movement, and body awareness. She is a warm, nurturing, and enthusiastic teacher who tailors each lesson to the specific needs and goals of her students. She strives create an environment in which students will gain confidence, feel safe to express themselves, and grow in their vocal abilities. Bridget works with singers across genres including choral singing, pop, musical theater, rock, jazz, classical, opera, and more! Bridget is a recent Metropolitan Opera National Council District Winner and has performed on the stages of Fort Worth Opera, Kentucky Opera, Opera Mississippi, Charlottesville Opera, and Des Moines Metro Opera. She recently taught a masterclass with the students at the University of Southern Indiana working on technique and style in both classical and musical theater repertoire. She has a Master's Degree in Opera from Boston University and a BM in voice/BA in Film from Western Michigan University. Bridget also performs as a soloist in the Opera-Rock mashup group, The Tapestry, singing everything from Wagner to Van Halen.
