I'm a Mechanical Engineering Honors student at the University of South Carolina. I've been tutoring students since 2019, and I've taught everything from Elementary Math to Calculus 2. I've worked with a variety of student, ranging from ages 10 to 18, but I'm comfortable teaching students of any age. I work with my students to customize their sessions, so we strengthen their weaknesses while enhancing their strengths. My students and I work together on class concepts to build their math knowledge and increase their confidence in the material. When it comes to homework, I guide my students through a few problems, helping them build strategies for approaching each problem. Then I take a step back and let my students put their strategies to work. No pressure, though. If a strategy doesn't work, we'll work together to develop an approach that's right for each individual student. I look forward to working with you and helping you improve your math skills!
