I am a professional bassist, guitarist, singer, songwriter and recording artist. I graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, TN with a Bachelors of Music Business, with an emphasis on Recording and Audio Production, and spent several years running live sound and performing with bands in Nashville. I've toured nationally and internationally, playing festivals and opening for major acts, Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings, Joan Jett, The Doobie Brothers, Robin Trower and more. In addition to a well-rounded experience as a live musician, I've also written, recorded, and performed on a variety of full-length albums, EPs, and singles, and have had music featured on TV shows, in a video game, and on the Kansas City Royals’ 2019 Super Bowl commercial. After years of playing and performance, I first began teaching a few music lessons in 2012, helping a colleague expand her teaching studio. Over the past 10 years, teaching and coaching aspiring musicians and songwriters has come to be one of the most meaningful things in my life. I love playing and performing music because of the way that it connects people, and I love teaching because it allows me to share my knowledge and passion for music with others in a meaningful way. I teach students of all ages and personalize each lesson plan to help each student meet their goals in a positive and fun learning environment.
