I'm a graduate of UCLA School of Engineering with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering. I have a passion for explaining how the physical world works through math and physics along with 14 years of tutoring experience in those subjects, test prep, and mentorship programs. The teaching strategy I believe in emphasizes subject fundamentals, a powerful and necessary tool for higher problem solving. This strategy has proven effective regardless of the student's educational background or mental ability. Besides being knowledgeable, I am motivating, caring, and patient in guiding your student to academic success! Executive Functioning is a separate realm that tutoring can assist in. It deals with cognitive processes including organization, time management, and study skills. Much of the difficulty students face in academic subjects can be attributed to the lack of executive functioning. They either cannot keep up with the pace and workload that advanced courses demand or haven't figured out the best way to study for themselves. I am able to assess a student's shortcomings and formulate a plan for higher achievement. Math: • Elementary • Pre-Algebra • Algebra 1 & 2 • Geometry • Pre-Calculus • Trigonometry • AP Calculus • Applied/Business Calculus • Differential Equations Science: • AP Physics 1 & 2 • College Physics • Chemistry (non AP) • Biology Test Prep: • SAT I & II • ACT • ISEE • SSAT • HSPT • GRE • TEAS • CHSPE • GED • ASVAB • CBEST and more Computers: • MS Word • Excel • PowerPoint • Outlook • Adobe Acrobat • Adobe Reader • Dropbox • Google Drive • Skype • General Windows/Mac • Web Design • JavaScript • Python • HTML Mentorship: • Grade Monitoring • Teacher Collaboration Executive Functioning: • Organization • Time Management • Study Skills • Checking Work • Completely turned around achievement and self-confidence of mentored students • Track record of student improvement particularly in math and physics *Cancellation Policy: At least 24 hours notice or charged for full session

Daniel immediately tackled the project and remedy the problems with the website. I updated my address, telephone number and written information. I recommend anybody Website activities to contact him with the greatest of confidence. Best wishes, Wendy
(((the subject was AP Physics but the site won't let me select anything but Math))) Daniel worked with my daughter on her AP Physics homework and other physics questions. Was clear and articulate and made sure he had helped with all her problems before ending the lesson. I recommend providing as much info as possible ahead of time so both student and tutor can hit the ground running. That was a miss on my part.
Absolutely amazing! I was struggling with Calculus but Daniel helped me get through it. Thanks to him I now know if there is a problem I’m stuck on or need help I can confidently ask him for math help.
