In each lesson, we will explore, create, and help you advance your ability to play music that you love. My skills as an instructor extend far beyond helping you grasp the fundamentals (which I will do). Yes, you will practice scales, chords, sight-reading, and learn music theory. But you will do so in an environment suited to your needs as a whole person. Learning doesn't happen in a vacuum, and we have all been tested and tried these past couple of years. If you want to learn with a teacher who is creative and compassionate and understands the healing power of music, then my studio is likely a good fit for you. I teach beginners thru advanced intermediate piano students as well as voice and songwriting lessons. I can help you learn to read or play using chords (preferably both). I can also help you lift the level of your playing beyond reading note-to-note so that people will be moved by your music. Kids ages 10 and above, come on! Let's get you making music.
