My name is Elizabeth, and I teach private viola, violin, and piano lessons. I also tutor music theory and history! I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Music degree in Viola Performance from Shenandoah Conservatory, and just recently with my Master of Music degree from The Hartt School in Spring 2021. During my time at Shenandoah, I worked through the school as tutor, helping my peers through music history and theory courses. It always made me so happy seeing them improve in their classes! I have been teaching viola, violin, and piano for four years, and it is my passion! It brings me so much joy to enrich my students' lives with music, and to watch their progress as they grow. While I don't expect the majority of my students to become professional musicians, I think it's vital that we all, as humans, learn the language of music so we can communicate and understand the world better. My biggest hope is that I make a difference in my students' lives. I tutored music theory, music history, and general music courses for three years at Shenandoah Conservatory. I have mostly worked one-on-one with students, but I can also tutor small groups! I have been teaching private viola, violin, and piano lessons for five years. I have two degrees in viola performance, and 16+ years of experience playing the piano and violin.
