My art lessons are tailored to my client's individual needs. Whether I am working with a pure beginner or an advanced student, I help all of my students reach their full potential and discover their creative voice. I teach both artistic technical and conceptual skills to make my students well rounded artists. I have 25+ years of experience making art as well as 8 years as an educator, with 6 as an art teacher. I have worked with all ages and skill levels. Painting is my speciality but I also teach drawing, photogrsphy, simple sculpture, and printmaking. I have taught all painting mediums and subjects but my personal favorite is a little known medium called gouache! In my personal art I mostly paint landscapes, city scenes, and portraits. I love to explore mediums with clients and find out the best fit.

With me you, or your child, will discover their full creative potential through developing technical skill and individual ideas/concepts. I guide students into finding or developing their own creative voice and style. I have extensive experience in many mediums and have been making art for over 25 years. I can also help with portfolio reviews and guidance for those looking to become art majors. I live in Manhattan, New York and am comfortable with either meeting in person in the city or with online learning.
