I have been teaching K- 12 and adult learners for over twenty years. I taught first snd second year Spanish at a parochial high school in Rhode Island. I taught honors students and some lower level classes at the high school. My duties included giving vocabulary quizzes daily, which helped the students take the classes more seriously. My strengths are in vocabulary and grammar, and I make it a point to use the vocabulary and grammar frequently while teaching. I taught adult learners of English as a Second Language at a community college in Rhode Island as well. The students were from several different countries and it was a challenge to help them to communicate in English with each other. I graduated from Stonehill College with a Bachelors degree in Spanish and have taken 10 out of 12 courses toward an MBA at Liberty University. This experience has helped me to plan my lessons and make them relevant to student needs.
