I am a firm believer in the benefits of singing for mental, physical, and socioemotional health. Whether you are just starting out or you're a seasoned singer looking to expand your technique, I seek to provide individualized lessons suited to each student's specific goals. My motto is "anyone can sing," especially YOU! During a lesson with me, you can expect: - Individualized goal setting based on your needs and wants - Evaluation of current skill levels - Foundational voice principals - Warm-up techniques targeted toward your goals - Specialized feedback on piece(s) in progress - Expansion of repertoire in genres of your choice - Take-home practice exercises to help you be the best you can be! About me: I am a special education teacher based in Tallahassee, FL by day, and I also give voice lessons to students with disabilities on the side! I have a Master's degree in Special Education from Florida State University, and for my undergrad I double-majored in Music at FSU. I am classically trained in both German and Italian schools of voice, but I have also performed in a variety of other genres (Musical Theater, Pop, Praise/ Gospel, Country, etc.). Helping people discover the power of their voice is one of my greatest passions!
