I have taught over 26,000 individual lessons and 160 sections of classes in virtually every setting, such as universities, public schools, commercial music stores, community education programs, private practice, and the internet. I have two degrees in music, a master's and a bachelor's, and a certificate in management and supervision. I have been published numerous times in periodicals and as a music critic for a newspaper. I have performed music in the US, China, and Canada, in cities such as New York, Shanghai, Philadelphia, Winnipeg, Nanchang, and Minneapolis.
