I firmly believe anyone can dance. There should be no limitations: not ability, age, gender, body type, weight, or prior experience. That's why I teach dance to people of all ages. My classes are rooted in classical ballet with influences from Balanchine technique. I love teaching beginners the fundamentals of barre work, turns, and leaps. But I also have the expertise to teach intermediate-level dancers who wish to improve upon their technique. Each dance class starts with a barre exercise intended to challenge the mind and body. I will then guide dancers in a stretch and across the floor technique. Choreography can be worked on or taught when requested. I began studying dance at age 3 in the Denver, CO area. Throughout my life, I've had the privilege of studying ballet, pointe, lyrical, jazz, and contemporary. After graduating from high school, I pursued an education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I was also a part of the dance program. I quickly switched from being the dancer to the dance teacher, to follow my passion of helping others. I taught at Storybook Ballet in Madison, WI, and I most recently teach all ages at Foothills Park & Recreation Department in Littleton, CO.
