Hi! I can definitely help you and math is my most favorite subject to teach!! From my twenty years of classroom teaching (6 Middle School, 14 Elementary) and years of specialized Mathematics training, I have tons of materials and manipulatives and cool, fun ways to help you learn your math (you just need access to a computer, paper, post it's, pencils, and a few crayons). During each session, we will complete any homework, address questions about skills being taught in class, learn new strategies, practice newly learned skills, and prepare for any tests or quizzes. I will also focus on reteaching unmastered skills from previous grade levels. I will provide practice questions and mini-lessons on skills, until they are learned. This is what will help boost the understanding of the current grade level objectives being taught. I will naturally connect all skill concepts and show where they fit in the foundation and context of already mastered skills within the Grade Level Common Core Standards. I will always send a summary of what was taught/learned during each lesson, as well as the student's progress and achievement of goals.
