Born and raised in Pune, India, I've always been inspired by the music around me. I discovered the Piano at 6 and went on to complete a Bachelor's degree in classical Piano from Trinity College London. My first exposure to music was my Sunday sessions playing the piano and accompanying the choir in church. I knew quite early on that my life would revolve around making and sharing music. My first experience teaching music was at a prestigious International Baccalaureate school as a general music teacher where I taught performance, composition and analysis as key components of music. I soon became the Director of Music attend was given an opportunity to teach at different levels- primary, secondary and high school. Apart from playing the piano, I also love writing and composing music for different orchestral instruments. I've now accumulated 15 years of experience performing as a pianist/accompanist. Perfoming live as a keyboard player locally as well as internationally has given me opportunities to travel across the world. My knowledge and understanding of teaching grew as I attended several professional development workshops by the International Baccalaureate where I developed superior teaching skills. Apart from this, have been producing music for many artists and have experienced composing and producing different genres of music for over a decade. Presently I'm actively involved in the Atlanta music industry. I live with my wife in Marietta GA. MY TEACHING STRATEGY Extensive research has proved that music ignites all areas of a child's development and builds holistic skills - intellectual, social, emotional, fine motor, language and literacy. Structured music lessons lead to improved academic performance and fosters creative thinking skills. I offer customized one-on-one piano lessons via Zoom for children as well as adult's. A multi-camera setup enables learners to see me as well as access the complete view of a piano while they are learning. The requirements for the class are standard key instruments such as a keyboard, piano or a midi keyboard. Parents with limited knowledge of music can rest assured that I begin from basics to create a love for music. Customized lessons at home are a great way to learn a new skill without having to travel long distances.
