Hi, my name is Juliet Mazzola! I began my ballet training at the Berkshire Dance Theater in Massachusetts. I have spent summers studying at the Boston Ballet School, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, The Joffrey Ballet School, Colorado Ballet, BalletX, Arch Contemporary Ballet, and The Workshop Series. I also studied as a Trainee at the Joffrey Ballet School in NYC my senior year of high school. In 2018, I graduated from The Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase College with a BFA in Dance and a Concentration in Ballet. While studying at Purchase I spent a semester abroad at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. I have performed many works by various renowned artists including George Balanchine, Gerald Arpino, Silas Farley, Stephen Pier, Michelle Thompson Ulerich, Bettijane Sills, Iratxe Ansa and Taryn Russell. I began my professional career in 2018 as a Company Artist with Ballet Hartford. For the 2019 season, myself and seven other professional dancers co-founded and co-directed our own company, New England Ballet Collective, where I was Company Artist and President. I have been teaching dance for 8 years now as a faculty member and a guest artist at various studios throughout New England. I am so excited to offer private lessons online in both ballet and pointe for all levels, beginner to advanced.

About Juliet M.

I am a professional dancer with a BFA in Dance and a Concentration in Ballet from The Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase College. I have danced professionally with two contemporary ballet companies, Ballet Hartford and New England Ballet Collective. I have worked with and performed alongside renowned artist from New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theater, The Joffrey Ballet, Ballet Hispanico, and Ballet Austin. My beginner students can expect to learn the fundamentals of ballet and gain technique and artistry as we work together and enjoy the beauty of dance. My intermediate and advanced students can expect to be challenged physically and artistically as we build upon their technical foundations and dive deeper into refining their craft. I will also advise my intermediate/advanced students on audition techniques, preparing variations, dance reels and resumes if they are interested in pursuing dance in college or professionally. Ballet is a beautiful and historic tradition passed down from teachers to students and I take great pride in sharing my joy of dance with my students in a supportive and encouraging environment.
