I am Chemical Engineering PhD student and research adjunct at The City College of New York where I investigate the chemistry underpinning strategies for mitigating smog-causing emissions. While completing my undergraduate degree, I helped write the online learning module for Organic Chemistry for Engineers, was an assistant instructor for the Computer Aided Chemical Engineering and Principles of Chemical Engineering courses, and offered private tutoring sessions. I have a true passion for teaching, and I believe that we're limited only by the time we invest in our studies. This is why I decided to pursue a career as a Chemical Engineering professor; because I felt an attitude of patience and thoughtfulness was missing in the circles of many STEM academics, and I do not feel STEM needs to be communicated exclusively in the esoteric, inaccessible means by which it often is. If you or a student you know are struggling to balance chemical equations, integrate functions, or solve for the velocity of a falling point mass, not only am I happy to help, but I am hopeful that we can overcome your challenges as painlessly as possible.
