I have taught public school band and orchestra since 2012. I teach at Tilghman's Academy of Music online privately and group classes since 2018. My primary instruments are woodwinds, but I also have taught numerous piano classes for children as young as 3 years old as well as adults. Subjects I teach reflect the interest of the students and may include: classical, jazz, pop, rock, worship, world music, theatre, and more. Why I teach? I believe every person has a connection to music. It is my passion to help my students develop life skills such as: critical thinking, creative expression, setting goals, overcoming obstacles, and finding your voice individually and in society.
