I have been sewing for more than 20 years and take a practical approach to learning sewing. I like to have students start with a project that is going to be achievable. If you've never sewn before we usually start with something simple (pillowcase, pajama pants) and then work up to more and more complicated projects, learning new skills with each project. I have a good sense of humor and believe that as long as we all remember that sewing is not a matter of life and death (unless you're making space suits for astronauts!) so if we all calm down and take a breath everything is gonna be okay! :)
