Hi, I'm Kiera. I'm a New York-based theatre artist and educator. After graduating with a degree in Music Education (BM, Saint Norbert College, 2019), I spent two years teaching choir and general music to 7th and 8th graders. I also taught theatre and music classes at local and equity theatre academies (Sunset Playhouse, First Stage) and stayed active in the community theatre scene, prior to and during the COVID-19 pandemic. During that time, I became more fascinated with working with individual voices and learning the “ins and outs” of singing, specifically in voice science and how the voice works in different styles of singing. I returned to university to earn my Master’s degree in Vocal Performance: Musical Theatre Performance as well as a Post Master’s Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy (MM, New York University, exp. 2023). I am drawn to strong, bold, and non-traditional female roles. I frequently play female characters that speak freely, embrace their sexuality, and challenge the societal structures that inhibit them. In my own performances and in my studio, I work to establish a belt technique that is healthy, easy, and sustainable. By challenging previous notions of what belting should feel or sound like, my students are able to tackle contemporary repertoire with ease and expand their vocal range. As a performer, I strive to infuse my process with truthful actions, sounds, and emotions. Using my "actor’s toolbox" and life experiences, I hope to create art that speaks to the human experience and inspires audiences to return to the theatre once the performance ends. Past roles have included: Marcy (Dogfight), Morticia (Addams Family), Casey (First Date), Paulette (Legally Blonde), and more... Today, I am an Adjunct Instructor of Voice at New York University. I’m also teaching privately to my own voice studio and auditioning for professional theatrical productions locally and nationally. I continue to stay active in the music journeys of young folks, teaching theatre academies and presenting masterclasses/workshops to schools nationally.

My newly-turned 16 year old son has been taking lessons with Kiera for about 3 months now and the difference is absolutely amazing. Not only has the quality of his voice improved, she's able to work with the voice changes that come with puberty, while still keeping the qualities of his voice that make it "his." Even better, his confidence has absolutely skyrocketed! He is able to be playful with his facial expressions and movements because the singing part comes more naturally. He adores working with her and has learned so much!
Kiera is absolutely incredible! I’ve been in her studio for about 3 months and the progress I’ve made has been substantial. She is fun to work with, highly knowledgeable, and easily adaptable to my needs as a musician and singer. When I first started lessons, I had no formal training with singing, but in a short time we have been able to build my vocal technique more than I ever thought was even possible. I really can’t recommend her enough!
Kiera is an absolute professional. She uses her extensive knowledge and education to assist in her teaching. Using a wide array of exercises and techniques, she helps harness your strengths, while also focusing on correcting your weaknesses. The end result is amazing productivity. I am much more comfortable singing than I was before I started my lessons with her, and I've discovered my natural range and have been working to increase my ability and my range. I'm completely satisfied with the results I'm getting.
