Take your singing to the next level with Kristen, a Music Performance major in college with a passion of teaching voice to all ages. Focused on helping beginner and intermediate singers with practical skills, healthy technique and confidence. Lessons are personalized to the goals of each student. Well-versed in many genres. Genres I teach include art song, opera, musical theater, and pop with a main purpose of building a healthy vocal technique. Whether you want to sing in a choir, on Broadway, on the opera stage, or in your living room, I offer voice lessons that are full of detailed instruction, healthy techniques, thorough preparation, and lots of fun! Music is my passion, and I am currently working towards a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance. My goal as a teacher is to do more than teach you how to sing. My goal is to allow students to become problem solvers and independent learners, as they find their talented voices. I approach my lessons committed to spark my students interest, imagination, and musical understanding. My joy comes from seeing my students ideas develop and being there to guide them! My voice teachers have greatly impacted my life and my goal is to inspire my students the same way as I have been. Music is meant to be fun, so I incorporate fun games and interesting challenges into each of my lessons, while working on music that you love - whether that is pop, classical, or musical theater. It would be my greatest pleasure to help you discover your potential!
