Levels taught:
Beginner, IntermediateI am a licensed teacher and experienced singer. I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelors of Music Education, specifically in voice. Throughout my years of experience as a musician, I have experience in both playing and teaching the following instruments: voice, piano, trumpet, and tuba. Voice students can expect to improve each week in their vocal technique and confidence. Every voice and every student is unique so I teach every single lesson differently based on your needs. I focus my teaching on understanding our body's abilities and tap into our vocal potential through breath work and mindfulness. I have experience in teaching students of many disabilities including intellectual, physical, mental, and more. I have spent time teaching in special education classes as well and am able to create appropriate accommodations for every student! Many students with disabilities struggle with performing in front of others. I am here to help these students become comfortable with their voice and slowly grow to be able to share this vulnerable and beautiful part of themselves.
