I am like a proud mama when it comes to my students. I have been teaching online and in person for 10 years now and I have seen all of my students grow and accomplish so many great things. I teach all levels of voice and beginner/intermediate piano. I teach all ages 6 and up and tailor lessons to each individual. Whether students goals are to get a main role in a theater production in a theater troup or their school, to beginners with no experience, someone who wants to create their own songs from start to finish, to perform with confidence, feel confident and prepared for auditions, win singing competitions, get in to honors choir, or to just learn how to sing or to play for their own enjoyment. I have seen students go on to win medals at state and world competitions, be on TV and TV shows performing music and musical theater, become a national touring musician as a band, release their own music, and students who have opened up shows for famous artists themselves. I've seen my students accomplish all of these things and more. I don't only consider myself a teacher, but a mentor. I help to encourage and push my students to do more than they think they can. I not only teach them the skills they need to learn to accomplish their goals, but I help students to develop and keep good habits that will stick with them, helping them develop discipline and confidence in life. About me: I've been singing since the age of 3 and performing on stage since the age of 6. I grew up around music, as my parents also played and instilled a love of music in me. At age 7, I began training and performing with the Columbia School of Theatrical Arts where I performed in multiple productions. I started writing songs at a young age and later formed a band where we created music and played at shows and festivals. I went on to college to study music and education while taking lessons in voice, piano and guitar. I taught music at Amerischools Academy where I also put on the schools musical productions. I have performed in different cover bands playing at events, festivals, weddings, church's, restaurants and more, as well as collaborated and performed with many talented artists. Ive recorded with producers in Phoenix and LA. I performed in sold out shows with the famous Woodstock singer "Melanie" in the Melanie and Family show, who wrote hit songs such as "Brand New Key", which have been covered by many famous singers such as Miley Cyrus. Today, I continue to push myself to be the best teacher, musician, vocalist, songwriter and performer I can be and to help my students be the best they can be and to develop in their passions, talents and abilities.
