Madeline is DA BEST! Ever since the first time I’ve worked with Madeline which was when she vocal directed for my schools musical, I knew she was legit. Getting to take some one on one lessons with her was the best decision I ever made. She has pushed me and helped me grow my vocal abilities in ways that I could not have done on my own. I can sometimes get self conscious about my voice, but Madeline makes her lessons such a safe space for you to try new things and experiment without feeling like you have to hold back. She is such an amazing instructor and I give her an 11/10!!

I initially chose Madeline because of her academic and pedagogical background and have been very happy with my choice. I've continued with my biweekly lessons because she has made lessons fun, fruitful, and is, simply, a great teacher. Starting as a 29 year old guy working and studying full time, I was hesitant on many fronts to start lessons. That being said, Madeline's teaching style is such that I never felt bad about occasionally not having time to practice but always felt motivated to do so because she genuinely seems happy for me when I do and because of that I've seen progress. Lessons are always tailored to my specific needs and she lets me work on music which I am excited to. Not only is she adept at musical pedagogy, but did a great job at the interpersonal level of making me feel at ease during my initial lessons to the point which I don't feel angst singing and being heard by other people--something which was difficult for my shy self. Overall it has been a great experience that I'm very happy with and would sincerely recommend.

I have loved my lessons with Madeline and I initially met with her once every other week. I enjoyed the lessons so much, and felt I was making such progress toward my goal of singing in a choir, that I moved to meeting on a weekly basis. I received Madeline’s name from our choir director and I am so happy to be working with her!
