I’ve been taking mandolin lessons from Mel for several months now. As a beginner student, I’ve found Mel to be very patient as I learn the basics and he really takes the time to explain and break down any music theory I need. The sessions are fun and I feel like I get the feedback I need to grow each week as well as feel confident and ready to join in local blue grass jam sessions, my first goal. I’ve learned so much from Mel in such a short time. Highly highly recommend him!!

Mel was able to pick up exactly what I needed to know to get me on track. I am excited to practice what I have learned and am looking forward to the next lesson.
