Hi there! My name is Michael, and I can't wait to share my gift of music with you. I am an experienced musician of over 10 years, and cannot wait to bring that talent to other people, hopefully starting them on the long and exciting journey through the arts. Though I have only been teaching formally for over a year now, I have experience with working with other people through the mediums of church, concerts, and karaoke nights, so I know how to best connect with people who are new to many different things. If I were to give any advice as to what type of guitar teacher to look for, it would be to look for someone who can not only teach you, but can give you insight into the world of music that can't be found anywhere outside of performance and sharing the gift of music with others. Find an instructor who is able to get down on your level without boasting about the accomplishments they have, and instead just loves sharing the gift of music with others. Learning how to play the guitar is important and a great skill to have. However, sharing that skill with others is what makes that gift, in a sense, magical.
