Art has been a part of my life since I can remember! Starting art lessons at age 7, it shaped me into pursuing art as a full-time career. Since having studied at The Art House for 10 years, California State University BFA program for 6 years and 1 year at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, Italy, I have branched out to working in my own studio where I manage my creative business that allows me to paint and teach for a living and show my work internationally. In my personal work, I paint mostly in oil and gouache paint, creating semi-realistic and impressionistic paintings of portraits, landscape, nature and some still life. I am extremely passionate about teaching important fundamental drawing and painting techniques to students in a fun, understandable and judgement-free method that each student can use to create their own artwork expressing their true self. Everyone learns differently and at their own pace - that's why I create my lessons based on how you learn best! Through our time together, you will learn how to draw and paint pretty much anything you want!
