My musical journey started when I was 9 years old when I decided that I wanted to learn to play the flute. I'll never forget my first flute teacher, and I would love to help you reach your musical goals! Recently I have had the opportunity to open my own music studio in my house, and I am thrilled to accept new private lesson students! It's exciting to be able to share something I love so much with others. I worked as a middle school and high school band director for more than 15 years and have taught private beginning and intermediate flute and beginning band students for more than 30 years. I love to work with new students (young and adult) to start you off on your journey, and those that have been playing for awhile to help you reach your next goals. Music is something that should bring joy to you and those around you, I look forward to getting started working with you.
