Hi students, My name is Que (pronounced like the letter), and I have been a voice teacher for 15 years. I have a B.A. in Music (Voice Performance), and a M.M. in Voice Performance. This fall I will begin a D.M.A. in Vocal Pedagogy. My approach is to singing centers around the breath and its freedom. Our bodies have an instinctive response to a proper breath cycle, and we lean on that physiological process to build an efficient singing technique. Growth is not linear, and it looks different for everyone; but you will be able to achieve your personal through consistent lessons and practicing. Throughout my career I have studied, performed, and taught opera, art song, gospel, jazz, r&b, pop, and musical theatre. Currently I am a High School Music Teacher and an Adjunct Professor of Voice for two colleges.
