I am a professional guitarist, songwriter and recording artist. I graduated from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico in San Juan with a Bachelor's Degree in popular music. I have studied a wide variety of musical genres and styles like Pop, Blues, Rock, Classical, Jazz, Brazilian music, Flamenco, Soundtrack music, Video game music and Folk music from Puerto Rico, Cuba, Latin America, and many other countries. I entered the path of music very early when I began playing and learning piano on my own. Later I began taking lessons in guitar, learning the acompaniments of my favorite songs and slowly shifting into instrumental music until I soon decided to pursue a career in college. I have a balanced experience as a songwriter as well as an instrumentalist which makes me good guide for students wanting to take either of those paths. My aim is to provide students the fundamentals of music so they can have the tools to navigate their personal journeys in music while at the same time adapting my lessons to their specific learning style and individual preferences. Even if some student just want to learn music as a hobby or want to take music studies more seriously, I can guide them in any direction they want. I served as an academic tutor for students during my college years. I help you develop a repertoire that is ordered from beginner level to increasing difficulties so that you can feel the motivation of overcoming challenging yet reachable goals. At the same time I help students include songs and pieces that resonate with them so that they feel they are playing the music that lights them up.
